Established in 1952 and operating continuously since then, Hong Bee Group combines the experience and expertise of an established organisation of over 70 years with the zeal and drive of a start-up.

OUR JOURNEY
1952
Hong Bee Hardware Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated as a private limited company, initially specialising in the distribution of cement, steel bars, and Galvanized (GI) Pipe, among other products.
1980
Hong Bee Motors Sdn. Bhd. was appointed as the first distributor of Yamaha motorcycles in the Northern Region.
1982 – 1985
Hong Bee Hardware supplied essential materials, including cement, VCR concrete, and tiles for the prestigious Kompleks Tun Abdul Razak (KOMTAR) project.
1988
Hong Bee Distributors Sdn. Bhd. became the first distributor for Heineken Malaysia Berhad (formerly known as Guinness Anchor Berhad) in the Northern Region.
2005
Hong Bee Motors ventured into the maritime realm with the distribution of marine engines.
2015
- Hong Bee Hardware introduced its first tile brand, Mondecera, dedicated to providing ceramic and porcelain solutions.
- Hong Bee Distributors became the sole distributor for Heineken’s products in Penang Island.
2019
Hong Bee Distributors established its first in-house e-commerce brand platform, Ebar.
2022
Hong Bee Healthcare Sdn. Bhd. was formed to offer leading medical supply brands to healthcare professionals and end users.
2023
- HB Mix Sdn. Bhd. was founded to offer a wide range of fresh ready-mixed concrete for the construction industry.
- Hong Bee Motors launched its inaugural, all-in-one Yamaha Lifestyle Mall, where Yamaha Motor, Yamaha Marine, and Yamaha Music unite within a 12,000 sq ft space, the one and only in Malaysia.
